Hi ! Welcome to The-Interactive-Marketer ! Traditionally Marketing was predominantly limited to "demand generation". Over the years, we have seen that the scope has widened and now, there is a larger belief in the term Marketing.
This belief lies in one single word - Interaction ! Yes, Marketing has grown many fold and is now more interactive than ever before.
Lately, brands across the globe have started adopting this new phenomenon via the Digital medium aka Mobile and Web. On an opportunistic note this is a huge leap from just simple one way communication to multi-level, multi-mode, multi-personal communication. Thats great power to the brands !
Allow me to use a famous quote - with great power comes great responsibility.
Yes, in such a complex scenario , its easy for a brand to over communicate. The thoughts here try to present a neutral view on how certain categories are in the light of growth and enjoy the absence of policy framework.
